I think I got the cover idea for the first EP

I had this moment where I was on a plane

We was at LGA, it was getting ready to take off

And it just looked gloomy and dark like thunder and lightning

I didn’t even think we were gonna take off

Anyways, we started to take off, the pilot was like, you know, «Brace yourself,

there’s gonna be some turbulence»

We started going through the clouds and everything is shaking

I thought we was gonna die *laughs*

But, when we got through the clouds, it looked like California

It was like sunny and bright and beautiful

It’s like I almost had forgotten for a second that the sun like even existed

And, I had this moment where I was like

Yo, the sun is still here

It was here the whole time, I just couldn’t see it

And, I don’t know, it just spoke to me, so

The thought I had was, why don’t we take one of the elements

Take arrow and have it going through a cloud

So, that half the arrow’s above the cloud, half the arrow’s below the cloud

Creo que se me ocurrió la idea de la portada del primer EP.

Tuve este momento en el que estaba en un avión

Estábamos en LGA, se estaba preparando para despegar

Y solo se veía sombrío y oscuro como truenos y relámpagos

Ni siquiera pensé que íbamos a despegar

De todos modos, comenzamos a despegar, el piloto estaba como, ya sabes, «Prepárate,

va a haber alguna turbulencia»

empezamos a ir por las nubes y todo tiembla

Pensé que íbamos a morir *risas*

Pero, cuando atravesamos las nubes, parecía California

Era como soleado y brillante y hermoso

Es como si casi hubiera olvidado por un segundo que el sol como si existiera.

Y tuve este momento en el que estaba como

Yo, el sol todavía está aquí

Estuvo aquí todo el tiempo, simplemente no podía verlo

Y, no sé, me acaba de hablar, así que

El pensamiento que tuve fue, ¿por qué no tomamos uno de los elementos

Toma la flecha y haz que atraviese una nube

Entonces, la mitad de la flecha está sobre la nube, la mitad de la flecha está debajo de la nube

No sé, creo que es una idea genial.
