A friend of mine said the other day

Meditation is the only way

Just close your eyes and you should find

The way yoga clears your mind

And I hurried home

Turn off the light and stood on my head

Wanted to get this thing right

He told me that my mind must be strong

Somehow I think my position was wrong

These thoughts just kept coming through

One thing did get next to me

What is said about being free

You should’ve seen my concentration

Waves and waves of good vibrations.

And get into nature

To make it all complete

Legs are crossed in the lotus seat

Next position was my head to my feet

Put my head on my knee

Can’t stop thinking what should be

One of the things I wanted to do

Is to find a way to get next to you

Mind over matter just ain’t real

My mind didn’t know what my heart could feel
