Return To Egypt -

«And he cast upon them the fierceness of his anger

Wrath and indignation, and trouble

A host of evil angels.»

(Psalms, 78:49)

Two brothers stand;

their eyes are caught with fire

They know no fear from the tyrant on the throne

A simple wish not granted, to worship for their god

There’s no compassion inside the Pharaoh’s heart of stone

Blood consumes the waters;

tainting red the sacred Nile

The rancid stench of death harbors winds for miles

The cities and the temples, flooded now with frogs

And their croaking lasted days until Moses gave his word

The Pharaoh’s slender patience was reducing with each night

But to free the hebrew slaves was an unimaginable right

Though the word that spread in Egypt was speaking of the awe

That was penetrating slowly about a God they do not know

A host of evil angels — each has a different sword

Striking down at Egypt in the name on the One and Only God

By the brandish of the staff a cloud of dust arises

Carried by the desert wind and turning into lice

Harming none in goshen, infecting with their woe

A gathering of verming collide against the hebrew’s foes

God presents severity like never seen before

His words to Moses rumbles like the distand thunder roar

The pestilence and sickness that stroke the heathen fold

Are the labor pains of freedom taking out their toll?

Storming down with holy anger

Rain of fire destroys all

Unending swarms of god sent Furies

Covering the suns in whole

AARON:

«Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, let my people go, that they may hold a

feast unto me in the wilderness»

PHARAOH:

«Who is the Lord, that I shoul obey his voice to let the Israel go?»

AARON:

«The God of the Hebrews hath with us»

PHARAOH:

«Get thee from me!

Take heed to thyself, see my face no more;

for in that day

thou see my face… thou shall die!»

MOSES:

«My Lord, master of the universe

Flesh and blood when He comes down to rage war

His ministers and servants surrounding him in all his glory.

And you supreme

king od kings, judge us for we are your servants and they are your allies.

Come and rage war with them, hallowed be the name of God…

For ever and ever!»

The Pharaoh’s heart was stubborn

But the grief was greater than his will

By taking every first born

Entire Egypt chilled

«Y descargó sobre ellos el furor de su ira

Ira e indignación y angustia

Una hueste de ángeles malos.»

(Salmos, 78:49)

Dos hermanos se ponen de pie;

sus ojos están presos de fuego

No conocen el miedo del tirano en el trono

Un simple deseo no concedido, para adorar a su dios

No hay compasión dentro del corazón de piedra del Faraón

La sangre consume las aguas;

tiñendo de rojo el sagrado Nilo

El hedor rancio de la muerte alberga vientos por millas

Las ciudades y los templos, ahora inundados de ranas

Y su graznido duró días hasta que Moisés dio su palabra

La escasa paciencia del Faraón se reducía con cada noche

Pero liberar a los esclavos hebreos era un derecho inimaginable

Aunque la palabra que se propagó en Egipto estaba hablando del temor

Que fue penetrando lentamente sobre un Dios que no conocen

Una hueste de ángeles malignos - cada uno tiene una espada diferente

Golpeando a Egipto en nombre del Único Dios

Por el blandir del bastón surge una nube de polvo

Llevado por el viento del desierto y convirtiéndose en piojos

Dañando a nadie en Goshen, infectando con su aflicción

Una reunión de verming choca contra los enemigos del hebreo

Dios presenta una severidad como nunca antes se había visto

Sus palabras a Moisés retumba como el rugido de un trueno distante

La pestilencia y la enfermedad que azotan el redil pagano

¿Están pasando factura los dolores de parto de la libertad?

Asaltando con santa ira

Lluvia de fuego destruye todo

Enjambres interminables de Dios envió Furias

Cubriendo los soles en su totalidad

AARÓN:

«Así dice el Señor Dios de Israel: deja ir a mi pueblo para que tenga un

festejarme en el desierto»

FARAÓN:

«¿Quién es el Señor, para que deba obedecer su voz y dejar ir a Israel?»

AARÓN:

«El Dios de los hebreos tiene con nosotros»

FARAÓN:

«¡Apártate de mí!

Cuídate, no mires más mi rostro;

porque en ese día

ves mi rostro... ¡morirás!»

MOISÉS:

«Mi Señor, amo del universo

Carne y sangre cuando baja a la guerra furiosa

Sus ministros y siervos lo rodean en toda su gloria.

y tu suprema

rey de reyes, júzganos porque somos tus siervos y ellos son tus aliados.

Venid y haced guerra con ellos, santificado sea el nombre de Dios...

¡Por los siglos de los siglos!"

El corazón del Faraón era terco

Pero el dolor fue mayor que su voluntad

Tomando a cada primogénito

Egipto entero enfriado
