Ruler of the sky, but now the scavengers feed

Killing any hope you had a chance to be

The vultures are circling sanctum hospice

Born as a great beast to reign over the sky

New world vultures, wait for you to die

As a final dying light, keeps the phoenix flames alive

Feathers shed and your flight path blocked from life and death

You stoked your flame with evil fires

Abused your power, which became defiled

‘til your demise

Stranded in the desert at war with death

Scavengers feast at your festered flesh

Picked your bones finding only dust

The door to this existence now shut

In the ashes, your filth won’t die

The door will open and phoenix flames will burn again
