Irrational Behavior - After The Fall

I hear about it almost everyday,\nanother horrible story has made\nfront page news or cnn,\nan adult have hurt a child again.\nNo matter how much we have learned,\nor how we’ve progressed\nnothing can justify\nthe cruel acts\nupon our children,\nmurder, abuse, molestation.\nYou disgust me.\nI know that an eye for an eye\nwill leave us both blind.\nIt’s hard to justify killing\nbut you make me think twice.\nNo matter how much we have learned,\nor how we’ve progressed\nnothing can justify\nthe cruel acts\nupon our children,\nmurder, abuse, molestation.\nYou disgust me.\nYou disgust me.\nHow could you bring yourself\nto hurt a child?\nDo you deserve another chance\nor a fair trial?\nIf it were up to me,\nor if you hurt my family,\ndo you want to know\nwhat I would do?
