What is this pain

What is this suffering

Pain and suffering

A void, a darkness begins to take ahold of this soul

Deep in my chest

It knows me, but it’s not the pain

It’s not the suffering that scares me the most

It’s just the cold

The emptiness, when there’s nothing left

The days of solitude, they have beaten me down

Over and over, I have come to the end

I’m just waiting for a word from You

This brokenness I feel in this

It’s just too much to bear

Tearing away the lost and forgotten dreams

That I once held

I’ve laid them all but down

To quit, the easy road, something I’ll never know

The weight is too much

This mountains too high

The dark’s closing in

But the fire inside is alive

Eternally the fire burns

A voice in the valley

Will you trust in me

When the world around you is dying

Inside, the Spirit speaks

Setting fire to my weakness

The cold it burns away

A man, made new in his suffering

I can’t see through this fog

I don’t understand

Is this the end

Am I all alone

Forged in flames

¿Qué es este sufrimiento?

Dolor y sufrimiento

Un vacío, una oscuridad comienza a apoderarse de esta alma

En lo profundo de mi pecho

Me conoce, pero no es el dolor

No es el sufrimiento lo que más me asusta

es solo el frio

El vacío, cuando no queda nada

Los días de soledad, me han golpeado

Una y otra vez, he llegado al final

Solo estoy esperando una palabra tuya

Este quebrantamiento que siento en este

Es demasiado para soportar

Arrancando los sueños perdidos y olvidados

Que una vez sostuve

Los he puesto todos menos abajo

Renunciar, el camino fácil, algo que nunca sabré

El peso es demasiado

Estas montañas demasiado altas

La oscuridad se está cerrando

Pero el fuego interior está vivo

Eternamente el fuego arde

Una voz en el valle

¿Confiarás en mí?

Cuando el mundo que te rodea está muriendo

Adentro, el Espíritu habla

Prendiendo fuego a mi debilidad

El frío se quema

Un hombre renovado en su sufrimiento

Dolor: sufrimiento

No puedo ver a través de esta niebla

No entiendo

Es este el final

¿Estoy solo?

Forjado en llamas

Refinado por el dolor
