Staring at you smiling at me

As I dip the brush in fluent red

Though different layers of longing I can

resurrect you from the dead

This is you now re-imagined

I need something for the pain

something soothing

something tragic

something to make it stop again

esta es la pintura

eso te hace libre

Mirándote sonriéndome

Mientras sumerjo el pincel en rojo fluido

Aunque diferentes capas de anhelo puedo

resucitarte de entre los muertos

Este eres tú ahora re-imaginado

necesito algo para el dolor

algo relajante

algo trágico

algo para que se detenga de nuevo
